KEIRA BURGESS.1985
Born in St.Albert, Alberta, Canada, Keira has been creative for all of her life. She received her Bachelor of Design Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Alberta in 2007. She has travelled to many design fairs and exhibited in New York's ICFF. She has worked in the fields of Interior Design & Kitchen Design, and also works as a freelance designer.
For the year of 2009 Keira participated in the Istituto Europeo di Design's Masters Research Study Program "European Design Labs" in Madrid, Spain. The year was an infusion of [European] design, with 6 trips within Europe and 6 workshops with European designers throughout the year. The culmination of the year's work was exhibited at the EDL'09 grad show in December where the students showed their work from the year and their thesis projects.
KEIRA is currently living & working in Edmonton Alberta, designing kitchens at Cucina Bella and working on solo & collaborative freelance projects.
